Mid-Air Interactions

Conducted three experiments with twelve paid participants and several pilot tests.

Prepared pre-test and post-test questionnaires, and instructions document and videos.

Iterated several times through the design of the experiment based on pilot tests.

Analyzed data with ANOVAs and pairwise T tests with a Bonferroni correction using R.

SensArc

Collaborated with architects and artists to design interactive urban installations.

Designed PCBs for art installations using Eagle.

Built several rapid prototypes using Arduinos and sensors.

Stroke Rehab Game

Designed and implemented a rehabilitation video game for post-stroke patients using finger tracking with the Leap Motion.

Developed the game in Unity3D, which consisted in popping bubbles to exercise arm mobility.

Smartphone Controlled Blimp

Programmed a blimp, which was controlled remotely with a smartphone through OSC messages and transmitted video through RF that could be monitored with a PC.

Resource Collector Robot

Programmed a robot for the University of New Orleans team, which competed in the Region 5 IEEE robotics competition.

The robot collected hydro, wind and solar energy, stored it and then used it to lift a flag.
